Surjeet Negi
Meet Surjeet Negi. Born in a small village in Gairsain, he is a self-made entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. His journey from struggle to success is truly inspiring. He started his career at Amritsari Express in Pacific Mall, South Delhi, and later worked with Café Coffee Day. In 2016, he launched his first outlet, Cafe Melange in Delhi. Driven by a bigger vision, he returned to his roots and opened Cafe Milange in Gairsain in 2019 — introducing international cuisine to the region for the first time. The cafe quickly became a huge success. Over the years, he expanded into bakery, transport, and dairy businesses. At the peak of his journey, Surjeet stepped down from operations in 2026, handed over the CEO position to his younger brother Pushkar Negi, and moved ahead as a Government Contractor.

Our Journey
Established in 2019 in Gairsain, Cafe Milange is the pioneer of modern cafe culture in the remote mountains of Uttarakhand. For the first time, the people of Gairsain experienced the joy of authentic international flavors — Italian pizzas, delicious pastas, aromatic coffees, and refreshing mocktails — all served in a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Born from the vision of bringing quality, modernity, and a perfect hangout experience to the hills, Cafe Milange quickly became the favorite gathering place for friends, families, and travelers. Since day one, it has proudly held the reputation of being the best cafe in town. What started as a single cafe has grown beautifully over the years. In 2020, we added a bakery offering fresh cakes, pastries, and baked delights. Soon after, we expanded into dairy, delivering fresh and pure milk products to the local community. Today, Cafe Milange has evolved into a diversified food & beverage brand that continues to raise the standards in the region. We believe in constant growth and new experiences. Exciting plans are already in the works for the future.

Meet Pushkar Negi, he is the heart and soul of Cafe Milange. A warm, friendly, and ever-smiling leader, Pushkar has been with the cafe since the very first day it opened in 2019. Passionate about international cuisine and great coffee, he works tirelessly to ensure every guest receives the best experience possible. His dedication, hard work, and genuine love for the craft have played a major role in making Cafe Milange the favorite destination in Gairsain. Whether it’s crafting the perfect coffee, curating new menus, or making sure every visitor feels at home — Pushkar brings his energy and passion into everything he does.
